Economic offer
The district has got a well-developed infrastructure. Over the recent years a modern waste dump and a local sewage treatment plat of type BIBLOCK have been built. The supply of electricity is guaranteed. Construction of gas piping is the town is the end. Nowadays the streets lighting system is being rebuilt into an energy - saving one. There is a water supply system in the whole town. The district has vacant sites, which according to a local development plan are reserved for dwelling houses and industry. We offer a high standard of social infrastructure (living services) and qualified labour. For future investors, especially for those who are going to invest in tourism or farm and food - produce processing, we have various relieves and favour.




The development strategy of the district is connected with an ecological development policy. It considers: a development and promotion of functions, which are conformable to predisposition of an environment, forming a sensible site system with developing the sphere that are the least strenuous to environment, for example:

Ecology
-in 1997 a modern waste dump for the town and district was built (first lodging of 143-thousand m3 capacity in the period of 14,3 years) ,
-a local sewage treatment plant of the type BIBLOCK of a 2.600 m3 output a day, and also a drainage point for the septic tanks from the town and district ,
-old waste dump reclamation,
-the end of gas piping in Trzcianka,
-there are technical plans to build a sewage system in the villages: Straduń, Smolarnia and Biała .

Furthermore a desirable course of development is modern, not troublesome productive activity basing on clean, safe techniques and inculcatin ecological techniques.

Agriculture
The district area - 35.708 ha includes:
 - arable land –16.048 ha,
 - forests –17.760 ha,
 - remaining (wasteland, roads) –1.900 ha.

Business
There are about 2000 businesses in the district and town. Most of them sell goods or provide services. It is worth noticing that some foreign investors have set up their seats in Trzcianka, among others:

  • SAPA ALUMINIUM Limited Liability Company - a presswork plant for aluminium profiles,
  • HENKEL BAUTECHNIK (Polska) Limited Liability Company - manufactures articles for building industry: adhesives, plaster boards,
  • "TARMONT PANEL" Limited Liability Company - produces laminar boards for building industry,
  • "NORTHSTAR" Limited Liability Company -manufactures fireplaces systems ,
  • "JOSKIN POLAND" Limited Liability Company - a producer of agricultural machinery,

          Trzcianka has well-developed retail outlets and various facilities system. Besides small shops and workshops, there are also big supermarkets. There are many banks and other institutions.
